Sana'a - Saba:
First Deputy Prime Minister, Islamic scholar Mohammed Meftah and Minister of Information Hashem Sharaf al-Din inspected on Saturday the extent of the damage to the Ministry of Information building as a result of its targeting by the US-Saudi aggression aircraft.
During the visit, Meftah considered the aggression coalition's targeting of the Ministry of Information building and media facilities to be contrary to the norms, covenants and international humanitarian law that criminalizes the targeting of civilian facilities and buildings.
He stressed that this targeting expresses the enemy's hatred and foolishness in destroying the infrastructure of the Yemeni people.. noting that what was destroyed in Yemen will be reconstructed and the aggressors will pay the price sooner or later.
In turn, the Minister of Information confirmed that the aggression coalition targeted the Ministry of Information building in mid-2019 with several raids.
He pointed out that this attack did not and will not deter the ministry and the media from carrying out their duties and role in exposing the crimes and violations of the aggressors against our country and will continue to convey the injustice of the oppressed peoples to local and international public opinion.
