Shu'ub district in the Capital Sana'a on Saturday hosted a series of cultural activities and visits to the Martyrs' Exhibition and Martyrs' Gardens, as part of the annual commemoration of Martyrs' Day under the theme “Our Martyrs Are Our Great Ones.”
The local council, along with directors and employees from executive offices, organized field visits to the Martyrs' Gardens in the eastern al-Jarf and al-Hafa neighborhoods.
During these visits, attendees recited al-Fatihah in honor of the martyrs and praised their sacrifices in defending the homeland's dignity and sovereignty.
The activities also included a speech event and educational visit to the central martyrs' photo exhibition, organized by the educational district of Shu'ub.
Abdulqader Al-Mahdi, head of the educational sector in the Capital Sana'a, emphasized the importance of honoring the martyrs' sacrifices and adopting their values of devotion and jihad. He also called for continued support for martyrs' families.
The exhibition featured creative works by schoolchildren and martyrs' families, showcasing the legacy of the fallen heroes.
Khaled al-Jamra, director of the educational zone, and Mohammed Ghallab, activities officer, urged the community to continue supporting the martyrs' families and their children in recognition of the martyrs' immense contributions.
In the neighboring Sa'awan and al-Fawaris areas, residents organized a speech event to commemorate the martyrs. Speakers praised the sacrifices of the martyrs and reaffirmed their commitment to following the path of selflessness and resistance.
