Rabat - Saba:
Fifty-eight Moroccan cities witnessed 114 demonstrations, yesterday, in support of Gaza in the Zionist genocidal war's face that has been going on for more than 400 days.
"Moroccans came out for the 58th week to denounce the policy of starvation, displacement and killing to which the population of Gaza, especially the north, continues to be subjected," the Moroccan Commission for the Advancement of the Causes of the Ummah said in a statement.
The non-governmental organization explained that 114 demonstrations took place in 58 cities "to confirm the Moroccan popular support that began on October 7, 2023, and continued in all cities of Morocco in support of the people of Palestine and condemn the targeting of civilians, women and children."
The statement pointed out that the participants emphasized "their continuation of the peaceful exit until the war is stopped and the Palestinians are able to realize their just and legitimate rights, foremost of which is a unified Palestinian state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital."
The capital, Rabat, held demonstrations in solidarity with Gaza Strip, in which participants demanded an end to the Israeli genocide, the lifting of the siege, the entry of humanitarian aid, and the end of the normalization agreement with Tel Aviv.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been committing a genocide in Gaza, leaving more than 147,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and famine that resulted in the death of dozens of children and the elderly, in one of the worst humanitarian disasters in the world.
