The Deputy Director of the Office of the President of the Republic, Fahd Al-Ezzi, and the Governor of Al-Bayda, Abdullah Idris, inspected on Sunday the work progress on the paving and treatment of the rainwater drainage channel in the main street of Al-Bayda city at a cost of SR 99 million, funded by the local authority and the contribution of the Central Emergency Development Intervention Unit (CEDIU).
They, along with the province deputy Saleh Al-Mansouri, undersecretary of the Ministry of Administration, Local and Rural Development Mansour Al-Lakoumi, and assistant undersecretary Ahmed Al-Shoutari, listened to an explanation from the province's works sector official, Engineer Khaled Al-Qafai, about the components of the project, including paving works, rainwater drainage channels and parking lots.
Al-Bayda governor emphasized the importance of improving the services provided to citizens to alleviate their suffering in light of the repercussions of the aggression and blockade.
He pointed out that the stone paving works and the rehabilitation of main and side streets are part of the development projects to improve the services provided to citizens. He emphasized the importance of adhering to engineering specifications , standards and the specified time period.
