The local authority in al-Tayal district of Sana'a province on Sunday organized a central event to commemorate the annual anniversary of the martyr under the slogan, *"Among the believers are men who have been true to what they pledged to God."*
During the event, Province Undersecretary for the Education and Youth Sector Talib Dahhan highlighted key moments from the lives of the martyrs, emphasizing their heroic stands on the fronts of pride and dignity.
He stressed that commemorating the annual anniversary of the martyr is not only a tribute to their bravery but also a revival of their heroic actions, which thwarted the plans of the aggression and its mercenaries, ultimately leading to the victory, pride, and dignity that the people of Yemen and all free people around the world are experiencing today.
Dahhan further explained that celebrating the martyr’s memory strengthens the connection with those who sacrificed their lives to defend the homeland and support the oppressed.
He emphasized the importance of continuing efforts to care for the families and children of the martyrs, visiting the martyrs' gardens and exhibitions, and following in their footsteps in the ongoing battle to defend the nation.
In his speech, Hilal Maeedh, the director of al-Tayal district praised the heroic contributions of the district’s residents, who played an active role in defending the homeland on both the plains and mountains.
He reaffirmed the district's commitment to providing all necessary support to the families of martyrs and ensuring their well-being.
Following the speeches, the province undersecretary and the District Director inaugurated the central martyrs’ photo exhibition in the district. Along with representatives from the General Authority for Martyrs in the province, they toured the exhibition, viewing photos of the martyrs and models illustrating their heroism and the development of the Yemeni army’s capabilities in various fields.
They commended the efforts of the organizers and the exhibition's curators, noting that such initiatives are a way to honor the martyrs and their families.
The Undersecretary and his delegation also visited the Martyrs’ Garden of the district, where they recited al-Fatihah for the souls of the martyrs and prayed for them.
The event, exhibition opening, and visit were attended by several executive office directors and the families of the martyrs.
