Parliament listens to Services Committee & refers government's letters to competent committees for study report

In its session held on Tuesday under the Parliament Speaker Yahya Ali Al-Ra'i listened to the report of the Services Committee on the implementation level of the Council's recommendations to complete the bridge project (Wadi Surdd. Al-Kaden), Al-Dahi district, Al-Hodeida province.

He postponed the discussion of the report to a future session in the presence of the relevant government side.

During the session, the Council continued its review of the letters of the Change and Construction Government addressed to the Council Speaker regarding the level of implementation by the concerned authorities in the government of the Council's recommendations approved by the Council in the previous period.

These include the Ministry of Electricity, Energy and Water's implementation of the Council's recommendations contained in the report of the joint committee of the Financial Affairs and Services Committees on amending Article (10) of Law No. 3 of 2021 to establish a fund to support and develop Al-Hodeida province and its neighboring areas on the Arabian coast.

He also reviewed the letter submitted by the Health and Environment Ministry regarding the implementation of the Council's recommendations contained in the report of the Public Health and Population Committee on the results of its study on the causes of the spread and outbreak of the cholera epidemic.

He stood in front of two government letters containing the Ministry of Finance's response on the implementation level of the Council's recommendations regarding both the report of the Transportation , Communications Committee and the supplementary report of the Agriculture, Irrigation and Fisheries Committee on the complaints of pomegranate farmers and exporters in Sa'ada Province.

The responses included the measures taken by the concerned authorities regarding the implementation of the Council's recommendations.

The Council decided to refer the government's letters and the attached responses to the competent committees to study them and report back to the Council.

The Council began its session by reviewing and approving its previous minutes and will continue its work tomorrow, Wednesday, God willing.
