A second training session began on Tuesday in the Capital Secretariat as part of the advanced first aid training program for schools in the Secretariat, organized by the Education Sector in cooperation with Al-Khazzan Hospital.
The program, which began last Sunday and lasts for four days, seeks to qualify health supervisors in 100 educational construction schools in all districts of the capital's Secretariat with the aim of establishing trained school health groups of students in these schools.
At the course opening, the Director of School Health at the Education Ministry, Dr. Adel Al-Barti, stressed the importance of the training program in qualifying the cadres of health groups in schools because of their positive impact on society in general and students in particular.
He urged school administrations to pay special attention to school health , rehabilitate their staff and students in this field, stressing that the ministry seeks to provide various first aid supplies in all schools.
At the opening, which was attended by the course coordinator, Dr. Ghadeer Al-Muhaya, a speech was delivered by the course supervisor, Khalid Al-Basir, who expressed his hope that the participants in the training program will benefit from the knowledge they receive and apply it on the ground for a healthy society.
He emphasized that Al Khazzan Hospital attaches special importance to the educational aspect as part of its community services and responsibilities.
