Hajjah - Saba:

Two Martyrs' Photo Exhibitions were inaugurated on Tuesday in Hajjah province, marking the annual Martyr's Day. The exhibitions were held in Shamsan area of al-Mahabisha district at the Scientific School of the Islamic Forum and al-Kawthar School.

Yahya al-Malahi, Director of al-Mahabisha District, and Ibrahim al-Nuaimi, Deputy Director of Awqaf Authority Office, toured the exhibitions, which featured powerful images of martyrs and prominent leaders who sacrificed their lives for Yemen’s sovereignty and independence. The exhibitions highlighted the martyrs’ heroism and the ongoing fight against foreign occupation and invasion.

Both officials emphasized the importance of Martyr's Day as a moment to draw inspiration from the martyrs' sacrifices, reflecting values of loyalty, pride, and steadfastness. They called for continued care and support for the families of martyrs and stressed the need to follow in the footsteps of the fallen heroes, particularly in the context of supporting the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples in their resistance efforts.

Following the exhibition, a cultural event was held, where al-Malahi, al-Nuaimi, and scholar Abdulrahman al-Sharafi discussed the significance of martyrdom in defending Yemen’s land, honor, and sovereignty. They highlighted the enduring importance of the martyrs’ sacrifices and the responsibility to honor their legacy.

In the nearby town of Kushar, a similar martyrs' photo exhibition was opened in al-Ubaysah, accompanied by an event commemorating Martyr's Day.

The speeches at this event reaffirmed the commitment to following the path of the martyrs, supporting their families, and continuing to defend the gains achieved through their sacrifices.

The speakers also voiced solidarity with the Palestinian and Lebanese resistance movements and expressed support for the martyrs in Gaza and Lebanon, particularly women and children, who continue to suffer under occupation.
