A meeting in Amran Governorate, chaired by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Yemeni General Organization for Cement Industry and Marketing, Yahya Saleh Atifa, discussed the development and modernization plans for the Amran Cement Factory.
The meeting reviewed the reports of the fieldwork teams tasked with studying the development process of the factory, raising production efficiency, and addressing challenges.
The meeting touched on future plans to improve performance and increase production capacity within the framework of the plan of the Government of Change and Construction and the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Investment.
At the meeting, the Chairman of the Cement Industry and Marketing Corporation stressed the need to focus on reducing production costs, fixing imbalances that affect the efficiency of the factory, and increasing the competitiveness of the factory's products in the local market.
He stressed the doubling of production by taking advantage of technological developments within the development plans of the plant.
He pointed to the need to work to enhance the factory's capacity to meet the local market's need for cement, and to support the national economy at this sensitive stage, stressing that the Corporation is committed to providing a high-quality product that contributes to advancing the local development process and the development of the economy.
