Baghdad - Saba:
On Thursday, Ali Al-Zubaidi, a member of the Iraqi Fatah Alliance, warned of the weakness of deterrence against the Zionist entity and Iraq's lack of strength to deter and stop the attacks of the usurper entity.
Al-Zubaidi said in a statement to the Iraqi “Information” agency: “The Islamic Republic has a strong deterrent force capable of confronting the Zionist entity as well as the American side, which makes the entity calculate a thousand accounts before any confrontation against Iran.”
He added: “Iraq does not have sufficient deterrent power to confront America or the Zionist entity, despite the existence of resistance factions that work, fight and strike the Zionist depth, but the military scales are different and Iraq does not have the necessary power to deter this entity.”
He explained that “most countries fear a strong state that possesses a deterrent military force, and therefore the Iraqi government has tried to deal in a smart political way that would keep Iraq away from the circle of conflict.”
