Zionist archaeologist killed in southern Lebanon

The Zionist enemy media revealed today, Thursday, that archaeology researcher Ze'ev Ehrlich was killed by Hezbollah fire in southern Lebanon.

Channel “13” said “Ehrlich, from the settlement of Ofra, which is built on private Palestinian lands near Ramallah, was killed in southern Lebanon, where he was accompanying the army forces there.” Noting that “the army opened an investigation into the incident.”

In turn, the “Yediot Aharonot” newspaper reported that the enemy army is conducting an investigation into the killing of archaeologist Ze'ev Ehrlich, who entered Lebanese territory with the troops without a permit.

She explained: “The incident took place around 3:00 pm on Wednesday afternoon, about 5-6 kilometers from the border.” Ehrlich arrived accompanied by Golani Brigade Chief of Staff Colonel Yoav Yarom, was armed with a personal weapon, and appeared to be wearing a uniform and protective gear.

She added: “The Zionist forces surveyed an old fortress, without knowing that two militants were hiding there.”

Yediot noted that Hezbollah gunmen opened fire at close range on the Zionist forces penetrating into southern Lebanon, “which led to the death of Ehrlich.”
