Amsterdam-Saba:

Ten non-governmental organizations supporting the Palestinian cause have submitted a request to a Dutch court to issue a decision obligating the Dutch government to stop arms exports to the Zionist entity and ban trade with settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories.

The plaintiffs said in a joint statement Friday that the Netherlands, as a signatory to the 1948 Genocide Convention, has a duty to take all reasonable measures in light of the available to prevent genocide.

In turn, lawyer Wout Albers, who represents groups including the two Palestinian human rights organizations, confirmed that the Netherlands has not taken the necessary measures by continuing to export arms spare parts and military cooperation with the Zionist entity. He said, "This must stop immediately."

He added that "Israel" is guilty of committing genocide and apartheid and "using Dutch weapons to wage war."

The lawsuit, which was heard by the District Court in The Hague, is based on an order issued by the International Court of Justice in January for the Zionist entity to prevent acts of genocide in Gaza.

They also pointed to two arrest warrants issued by the International Criminal Court on Thursday against the Zionist enemy's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the former Minister of War, Yoav Galant, on charges of committing war crimes and crimes against humanity, including persecution, murder and the use of starvation as a weapon of war in Gaza.
