Beijing - Saba:
China expressed its support for the arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) against enemy Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former war minister Yoav Gallant.
"China supports all initiatives of the international community that contribute to ensuring justice in the Palestinian issue and defending the authority of international law," Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Xin said at a press conference in Beijing on Friday, in response to a question about the ICC decision and China's position on it.
He noted that conflicts and an unprecedented humanitarian crisis continue in Gaza, which is being subjected to genocide at the hands of the Zionist enemy army.
The priority is to ensure an urgent and unconditional ceasefire and take the necessary measures to alleviate the humanitarian crisis, he said.
