Sana'a - Saba:
The Parliament, led by Speaker Yahya al-Ra'i, condemned on Saturday the U.S.'s continued use of its veto power in the UN Security Council, particularly its fourth rejection of a resolution to halt the aggression against Gaza.
The Parliament criticized U.S. actions for enabling the ongoing genocide against Palestinian civilians, describing the U.S. as a key partner in Israeli war crimes.
It also denounced the international silence and the lack of action from Arab and Islamic nations regarding the situation, urging global parliaments and peoples to take decisive action to stop the Israeli war on Gaza.
The parliament reiterated Yemen's unwavering support for Palestine and Lebanon and called for stronger measures against the U.S. position obstructing efforts for peace.
It strongly condemned recent actions by the Saudi regime, accusing it of disrespecting Islamic sanctities by using images resembling the Kaaba during controversial events.
In a statement, the Parliament tied this act to broader concerns about the Israeli occupation of al-Quds and the ongoing efforts for "Greater Israel."
The Parliament also addressed domestic issues, including progress on the Wadi Surud- al-Kadan Bridge Project, with recommendations to expedite completion within the next 45 days.
It reviewed complaints about land disputes involving endowments and citizens.
