Al-Thawra General Hospital Authority in Hodeida province received on Saturday from the office of the General Authority for Endowments a cash contribution to perform operations for kidney dialysis patients.
During the delivery of the contribution, a check in the amount of two million YER, Hodeida first undersecretary Ahmed al-Bishri praised this humanitarian initiative by the Endowments Authority, towards an important segment of society, the vulnerable kidney dialysis patients who always need health care.
He called on the authorities and benefactors to support kidney dialysis centers and provide medicines, solutions and devices, in light of the ongoing aggression and siege.
He noted the efforts of the chairmanship of al-Thawra Hospital Authority, considering it one of the model hospitals in Yemen, serving thousands of patients daily.
While the head of al-Thawra Hospital Authority Dr. Khaled Ahmed Suhail appreciated the humanitarian role of the Endowments Authority in providing the Authority with this cash contribution to support kidney dialysis patients and alleviate their suffering.
He stressed that caring for kidney failure patients is one of the Authority's priorities in its service activities, expressing his thanks to the leadership of the local authority for the support and assistance it provides to the Authority in these exceptional circumstances that the country is going through as a result of the continued aggression and siege.
For his part, Director of the General Authority for Endowments Office Abdullah Zaid Shaim explained that the cash contribution from the office comes in conjunction with the annual anniversary of the martyr 1446 AH, and within the project "And cooperate in righteousness and piety".
He stressed the importance of cooperation between official and popular bodies to save the lives of hundreds of patients based on the humanitarian duty that requires everyone to alleviate the suffering of patients and their families.
