Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has called the ICC arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former war minister Yoav Galant a "great victory."
Ibrahim said today that the arrest warrant was "a great victory for all those who defend justice and humanity" and that it would alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people.
He said the court's decision was "logical".
He stressed the need to arrest Netanyahu if he travels outside Israel.
On Thursday, the International Criminal Court issued international arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Galant, on charges of "war crimes and crimes against humanity" during the more than year-long war on Gaza.
