Azal University for Human Development in the capital Sana'a organized a special event to honor the families of martyrs and showcase an art exhibition by graphic design students, marking the conclusion of the Martyr's Anniversary 1446 AH.
Cultural activist Osama al-Mahtwari highlighted the significance of the annual commemoration, emphasizing the martyrs’ sacrifices for the sake of God, religion, and justice.
He noted that martyrs are honored by God with eternal life and live in His presence, stressing the importance of martyrdom and jihad in defending faith and confronting aggression.
Al-Mahtwari also praised the country’s strength and position on issues like Palestine, Gaza, and Lebanon, attributing it to the martyrs' pure blood and the culture of sacrifice they upheld.
Mustafa al-Razihi, representing the university, also spoke on the occasion, emphasizing that the Martyr's Anniversary serves as a vital opportunity for gaining strength, determination, and insight in the struggle for justice.
He reiterated that the culture of jihad and martyrdom embodies the values of the Quranic project, which martyrs have carried forth in their defense of truth, religion, and the oppressed.
The event included artistic performances and a tribute to the families of martyrs affiliated with the university. An exhibition featuring fine arts, photographs, and models of weapons from the missile force was also unveiled, highlighting the martyrs’ heroic stances and sacrifices in defense of the nation. The ceremony was attended by the university's leadership, faculty, and students.
