Training program on preparing CPR instructors concludes

Sana'a - Saba:
The first training program on the preparation of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) trainers, organized by the General Department of Emergency and Ambulance at the Health Ministry , Environment and Public Mobilization, concluded in Sana'a on Wednesday.

The two-week course aimed to provide 34 trainees from different provinces with skills on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and how to spread awareness of the importance of resuscitation to increase the number of trainers among the community and enhance confidence in providing first aid.

At the conclusion of the course, the Health and Environment Ministry, delivered by Hashim Al-Mutawakel, explained that the course comes within the framework of the Government of Change and Construction program in coordination with the Military Medical Services Department. It pointed out that the participants in the course were qualified to train individuals in various fields, whether in hospitals, health centers and others.

According to Dr. Osama Al-Sharafi, director of the General Directorate of Emergency and Ambulance at the Ministry of Health, CPR skills are essential to save the lives of people suffering from cardiac arrest or respiratory issues.

In his speech, Dr. Ahmed Al-Hadi praised the efforts of the Ministry of Health and Mobilization for organizing this training program to enhance the participants' skills in CPR.

He pointed out that the experiences and skills that have been utilized will be transferred at the province level.
