Sana'a - Saba:

President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat chaired a crucial meeting on Thursday that included Prime Minister Ahmed al-Rahawi, his deputies, military leaders, and senior officials.

The meeting focused on reviewing the government's performance since its formation and discussing ongoing efforts to serve the Yemeni people.

In the meeting, the Prime Minister briefed President al-Mashat on the progress of merging ministries and institutions, as well as the steps taken to issue related laws, regulations, and organizational structures.

Al-Rahawi also presented an overview of the services provided during the past period and the government's initiatives to foster local development, stabilize the national economy, and improve the living conditions of citizens.

Defense Minister Maj. Gen. Mohammed al-Atifi discussed the current military situation on the fronts, emphasizing the armed forces’ readiness to confront the American, British, and Zionist aggression.

He reaffirmed Yemen's commitment to defending its sovereignty and supporting the resistance in Gaza** and Lebanon.

In his remarks, President al-Mashat congratulated the Lebanese people and Hezbollah fighters for their significant victory over the Israeli enemy, praising their steadfastness and sacrifices.

He acknowledged Hezbollah’s role in shattering the myth of the invincible Israeli army and delivering a crushing blow to Israel's plans, thereby offering lessons in jihad, bravery and endurance.

President al-Mashat also stressed the importance of maintaining unity on the internal front and enhancing coordination between government and military efforts in Yemen’s ongoing struggle against external aggression.

He called for increased efforts to improve government performance, prioritize citizen services, and implement key projects aimed at alleviating the economic hardship faced by the population.

The president emphasized the need for community support for government efforts to implement service and development projects, especially in light of the ongoing aggression and siege on Yemen.

He reaffirmed Yemen’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people and their resistance, pledging continued efforts until enemy aggression on Gaza is stopped and the usurping entity is expelled from the occupied Arab territories.
