The Syrian army announced Friday that it had inflicted heavy losses on the attacking terrorist organizations in the Aleppo and Idlib countrysides, and that it had inflicted hundreds of dead and injured terrorists in their ranks.
The General Command of the Syrian Army and Armed Forces said in a statement: "Our armed forces operating on the fronts of the Aleppo and Idlib countrysides continue to confront the major attack launched by the armed terrorist organizations under the so-called "terrorist Jabhat al-Nusra", which uses various types of heavy and medium weapons in addition to drones in its attacks, and relies on large groups of foreign terrorist militants."
It added: Our armed forces were able to inflict heavy losses on the attacking organizations and inflicted hundreds of dead and injured terrorists in their ranks.. and destroyed dozens of armored vehicles and vehicles and managed to shoot down and destroy seventeen drones.
She continued: "Our armed forces continue to reinforce all points on the various axes of engagement with equipment and soldiers to prevent terrorist violations on those axes and repel their attacks. Our forces have succeeded in regaining control over some points that witnessed violations during the past hours, and will continue their combat operations until they are repelled.
The Syrian Army Command concluded its statement by saying: In a related context, terrorist organizations are publishing misleading information, news and video clips through their platforms, aiming to terrorize citizens.
