Gaza – SABA:
The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, affirmed that the escalation of heroic operations in the occupied West Bank " once again proves that all the criminal schemes of the enemy will be crushed by the will and courage of this people and its valiant resistance."
In a statement issued today, Friday, Hamas emphasized that the "high-profile" shooting operation near the Ariel settlement was a natural response to the ongoing crimes committed by the enemy against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and the brutal war of extermination in the Gaza Strip.
Nine Zionists, including soldiers, were injured today in an ambush targeting an occupation patrol and a bus near the Ariel settlement in the West Bank. The operation was claimed by the Al-Qassam Brigades.
The incident occurred at the Giti Avisar junction near Ariel, where a resistance fighter opened fire on a bus arriving from Tel Aviv and an occupation police patrol.
Hamas described the "heroic operation" as proof of the determination of revolutionary Palestinian youth and the valiant resistance in the occupied West Bank to persist in the path of resistance and confront the Zionist fascist aggression.
The movement added that the escalation of resistance operations in the West Bank proves once again that all of the Zionist enemy's criminal schemes—including attempts to subjugate the Palestinian people, crush its will to resist, or displace it from its land and homes through brutal massacres in Gaza, raids, and blockades in the West Bank and Al-Quds—will be thwarted by the will, courage, and resistance of the Palestinian people and its free and steadfast youth.
While Hamas mourned the perpetrator of the operation, Sheikh Samer Muhammad Ahmad Hussein (46 years old) from the village of Einabus, south of Nablus, it also affirmed that resistance operations will continue and escalate across every inch of Palestinian land despite the enemy's security measures, raids, and ongoing aggression.
The movement praised the resistance and steadfastness of Palestinian youth in the occupied West Bank and called on the masses to intensify confrontations with the occupation and its settlers, defy its criminal army and its security measures, and increase participation in the "Al-Aqsa Flood" initiative. This, Hamas said, is in defense of Palestinian land, holy sites, and the steadfast people of Gaza, as well as in pursuit of the right to freedom and the establishment of an independent state with Al-Quds as its capital.
