Hajjah - Saba:

The Cardiology and Cardiac Catheterization Center at Al-Kuwait University Hospital in Sana’a, in partnership with the Health and Environment Office in Hajjah Governorate, will launch three free medical camps in the governorate next Wednesday.

These camps, which will take place at Abs Hospital, Al-Shaheed Yasser Wathab Hospital in Khayran Al-Muharraq, and the Aahim Health Center in Kushar, aim to provide consultations and medical services across various specialties under the supervision of an elite team of professors, consultants, and specialists.

Dr. Ahmed Al-Kuhlani, Director of the Health Office in Hajjah Governorate, told the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that these specialized camps, being held for the first time in the governorate, are in response to directives from the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, aimed at alleviating the suffering of the poor, the needy, and low-income individuals.

Dr. Al-Kuhlani highlighted that these camps, organized in commemoration of the annual Martyr’s Anniversary, will provide surgeries for hernias, gallbladder removal, appendectomies, hemorrhoids, fistulas, orthopedic issues, fractures, and eye diseases and surgeries.

He also noted that the free medical camps will address chronic conditions such as heart diseases, diabetes, and liver diseases, in addition to distributing free medications for chronic illnesses.

The Director of the Health Office expressed gratitude for the efforts and attention of the Ministry of Health and governorate leadership in organizing these camps, as well as the participation of professors, specialists, and consultants. He also acknowledged the role of pharmaceutical companies in supporting these initiatives.
