The acting governor of Al-Dhale', Abdullatif Al-Shaghdari, emphasized that November 30th Independence Day is a day when Yemen's history was written with the blood of the free, and the Yemenis wrote the most magnificent pages of glory that time cannot erase.
Al-Shaghdari told the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that on November 30, the Yemenis wrested their freedom from the clutches of British colonialism after more than 129 years of injustice and oppression.
He considered November 30 a watershed moment, in which the power of faith and determination came together in the heart of every Yemeni, and the dream turned into reality thanks to the sacrifices of heroes on the path of freedom and independence.
The acting governor pointed out that Independence Day will remain immortalized in the memory of a people who do not know submission , surrender, and will remain a source of inspiration to continue the path of freedom and glory, so that Yemen remains proud, free and innocent, regardless of the challenges.
