Damascus-Saba:
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad stressed that Syria's state, army, and people are continuing to fight terrorist organizations with full force and determination, throughout its territory, stressing that confronting terrorism, dismantling its structure, and drying up its sources does not serve Syria alone as much as it serves the stability and security of the entire region and the safety of its countries.
Syrian President al-Assad said during his meeting on Sunday with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi that the Syrian people have been able over the past years to confront terrorism in all its forms, and today they are determined to eradicate it more than ever, pointing to the importance of supporting allies and friends in confronting terrorist attacks supported from abroad and thwarting their plans.
The Iranian foreign minister affirmed his country's support for the government and army in Syria against terrorist groups.
The Syrian president vowed on Sunday to "use force to eliminate terrorism."
This came during a phone call with the acting Abkhaz president, according to the Syrian presidency.
During the call, the Syrian president stressed that "terrorism only understands the language of force, which is the language in which we will break it and eliminate it, regardless of its supporters and sponsors, and the terrorists do not represent either the people or institutions, they only represent the organs that operate and support them."
