The Tender Committee in the Capital Sana'a opened bids on Monday for nine key projects in the educational and health sectors, with an estimated cost of 426.8 million YER , funded by the local council.
The meeting, chaired by Sharaf al-Hadi, Chairman of the Planning and Financial Development Committee, included Assistant Undersecretary for Projects Eng. Abdullah Rawya. The committee referred the tender envelopes to Technical Analysis Committee for further review and evaluation.
The projects cover a wide range of educational and health facilities, including the completion of Abdul-Ilah Ghabash School annex in Azal district, restoration of al-Amqiyah and al-Quds Schools, and maintenance work at Azal Medical Complex. Additionally, there are plans for water leakage treatment, repairs at al-Thawra Educational Complex, and the construction of new facilities at al-Uruba School.
Al-Hadi emphasized the significance of these projects in enhancing educational and healthcare services, aligning with the local authority's ongoing development efforts in the capital.
