Social Affairs and Labor Minister Samir Baja'ala met on Monday with Deputy Minister of Interior Major General Abdulmajid Al-Murtada and First Undersecretary of the Capital Secretariat Khalid Al-Madani.
During the meeting, they discussed several topics related to enhancing social stability and mechanisms to reach out to serve different social segments, especially the poor and most vulnerable families.
The meeting touched on aspects related to the social welfare requirements of Bani Al-Harith district, and the study of financing economic empowerment projects through partners in civil society organizations in the field of financing small projects.
The meeting also discussed coordination mechanisms in the national steadfastness program , the awareness and social role assigned to the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor as the entity concerned with the care and service of all poor social groups such as the disabled, the elderly, the homeless and other vulnerable groups that need care and attention.
The importance of cooperation and coordination between the various authorities concerned with social and development issues was emphasized to address poverty, combat the phenomenon of begging and homelessness, and implement the Revolution Leader's directives, Sayyid Abdul Malik Badreddin Al-Houthi, to help the needy , poor, and all that would achieve stability and prosperity for the Yemenis.
