The Educational District and al-Yaman al-Saeed School for Girls in al-Thawra district in the capital Sana'a held on Tuesday a special ceremony to honor female students with special needs under the theme "The Light of Integration Illuminates the Darkness of Isolation."
During the ceremony, Sharaf al-Hadi, Head of the Planning and Development Committee in the local council, Abdulkarim al-Masbahi, Director of Comprehensive Education in the educational sector, and Amin Salah, Director of al-Thawra Educational district, presented certificates of appreciation and symbolic gifts to the students and educational staff at the school in celebration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
Al-Masbahi highlighted the importance of focusing on male and female students with special needs, encouraging their growth, and refining their abilities and talents. He emphasized that this group requires dedicated support, care, and attention from the community.
He also praised the efforts of both al-Thawra Educational district and the school administration for prioritizing students with special needs, ensuring they receive the attention and resources they deserve.
The students showcased their creative talents during the event, performing segments and songs that celebrated their abilities and unique contributions.
