The Russian Defense Ministry announced that its rotational air defense forces destroyed 11 Ukrainian drones in the skies of Rostov, Kursk, Bryansk, Ryazan and Kaluga provinces.
The ministry said in a statement on Wednesday: “Attempts by the Kiev regime to carry out terrorist attacks using drones on targets in the territory of Russia were thwarted, intercepting and destroying 11 Ukrainian drones.”
The statement continued: “Six drones were destroyed over the territory of Rostov province, two over the territory of Kursk province, one over the territory of Bryansk province, one over the territory of Ryazan province, and one over the territory of Kaluga province.”
Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry announced in a statement that its air defense systems destroyed 24 Ukrainian drones over several Russian regions last night.
The ministry's statement said, on Wednesday: “Over the past night, attempts by the Kiev regime to carry out terrorist attacks, using drones, against targets on the territory of Russia were stopped.”
The statement continued: “Duty air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 24 Ukrainian drones: six drones were destroyed over the territory of Rostov province, five over the territory of Bryansk province, four over the territory of Belgorod province, three over the territory of Ryazan province, one over the territory of Astrakhan province and five over the territory of Krasnodar province.”
