The Governor of Amran, Dr. Faisal Jumaan, inspected on Thursday the progress of the rehabilitation and maintenance of Street 20 in Bir Al-Ashul in Amran city, which is being implemented at a cost of 148 million riyals funded by the local authority.
The governor, along with the director of Amran Directorate, Abdul Rahman Al-Emad, listened to an explanation of the progress of the restoration and stone paving works carried out by the unit's teams , equipment, and the level of achievement of the project, which is six thousand and 300 meters long, from the director of the executive unit for repairing and rehabilitating roads implementing the project.
Director of the Executive Unit for Repair and Rehabilitation of Roads implementing the project Salah Al-Qahoum explained that the project is one of four projects implemented by the executive unit for the construction, maintenance , development of roads , public places as part of the project to restore and maintain the targeted streets in the center of the province.
During the inspection, Governor Jumaan emphasized that these projects in the aspect of maintenance, restoration and rehabilitation in the main and secondary streets in the city of Amran are among the most important service and development projects, which contribute to serving the community, meeting its needs and alleviating its suffering.
He stressed the importance of adhering to the specifications for the implementation of works related to the project , other road rehabilitation and maintenance projects in the center of the province or districts according to the approved studies.
