The Prime Minister, Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi, discussed today with the Minister of Justice and Human Rights, Judge Mujahid Ahmed Abdullah, the priorities of the ministry's work and its plans for the coming period, in line with the government's general program in the field of justice.
The meeting reviewed the ministry's plan, which focuses on automating work in courts to improve performance, enhance oversight, and speed up the resolution of cases. The discussion also dealt with ways to develop the Higher Judicial Institute to graduate qualified cadres judicially and scientifically, improve prison conditions, and enhance their correctional role to serve their inmates.
The Prime Minister stressed the importance of the ministry's role in addressing imbalances and enhancing the efficiency of employees of the judiciary, praising its efforts in improving the performance and infrastructure of the judicial sector and calling for strengthening the independence of the judiciary.
