Hezbollah's Naim Qassem: Resistance strong, resilient despite aggression

Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem stated on Saturday that the Zionist enemy seeks to eliminate any resistance opposing its expansionist agenda across the region.

In a videotaped speech, Qassem emphasized that despite Israeli crimes aimed at weakening the resistance, Hezbollah has emerged stronger and undeterred.

He pointed out that while the enemy succeeded in killing some Hezbollah leaders, it failed in its ultimate goal of destroying the movement or displacing its supporters.

Qassem made it clear that Hezbollah would not surrender or be humiliated, asserting that the resistance remains strong and committed.

Qassem also highlighted that Israel’s decision to seek a ceasefire agreement stemmed from its failure to defeat Hezbollah, and that the resistance prevented Israel from imposing its vision of a "new Middle East" through Lebanon.

He clarified that the ceasefire, which applies only to areas south of the Litani River, was intended to stop Israeli aggression, not to end Hezbollah's resistance.
