Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Samir Baja'alah met on Saturday in the capital Sana'a with the leadership of the Foodstuff and Household Traders Syndicate and the Wholesale Traders City.
In the meeting, which was attended by the Undersecretary of the Labor Sector in the Ministry, Ali al-Qatabri, Minister Baja'alah listened to a presentation about the Syndicate, its tasks and contribution to the development aspect through its implementation and financing of a number of community projects, and what union and community work requires in terms of support from the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor.
The Minister stressed the need for integration between the government and civil society institutions, including associations and unions.
He pointed to the role of national capital and its steadfastness, and what commercial houses did during the aggression.. calling on businessmen to pay attention to industries and marketing local products, in a way that makes the private sector a national lever for the Yemeni economy.
Baja'alah stressed the keenness of the Ministry, the government and the political leadership to provide all necessary facilities for commercial and investment businesses, pointing to the approval of the new investment law, which provides and offers all available facilities to advance the economic sector.
He stressed the role of the union, traders and business houses in creating a trade exchange relationship with businessmen and business houses in neighboring countries, and at the regional level.
