The Presidency of the Shura Council held a meeting on Monday under the chairmanship of Council Speaker Mohammed Hussein Al-Aidarous to discuss several proposals and reports related to developing the performance of the Council and its standing committees.
The meeting dealt with the proposals of the Vice President of the Council, Mohammed Hassan Al-Durra, on improving the performance of the committees and implementing their plans in line with the directives of the revolutionary and political leadership and the government of change and construction. The Authority also stressed the importance of keeping abreast of developments, changes, and requirements of the current stage.
The meeting reviewed the report of the Community Committee for the month of Jumada Al-Awwal, which included the implementation of 366 activities that included field visits, solving community issues, and participating in official events. The Authority praised the efforts of the members of the Council in enhancing security and stability and urged the intensification of community activity.
The meeting also discussed a presentation by the Chairman of the Constitutional, Legal, and Judicial Committee, Dr. Muhammad Al-Kibsi, on a guide that includes regulations and legal documents related to the work of the Council, and the Commission took appropriate decisions on it.
