Damascus - Saba:
More than 60 Zionist strikes targeted military sites across Syria within hours, according to what the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported on Saturday.
The observatory stated that "61 air strikes targeted Syrian territory in less than five hours, and the strikes are still ongoing."
"The Zionist warplanes continue their violent escalation on Syrian territory," targeting in particular "ballistic missile warehouses inside the mountains," it added.
"The warehouses contain large missiles, ammunition, mortar shells, and other military equipment that the Zionist entity seeks to destroy," he continued.
The observatory indicated that "the number of Zionist strikes has risen to 446 raids that have targeted 13 Syrian provinces since December 8."
On Saturday evening, the observatory also reported Zionist strikes that targeted other weapons depots in the Qalamoun region near Damascus, as well as near Daraa and Sweida in the south.
Earlier, the observatory reported that a "scientific institute" and other military sites in Barzeh, on the northeastern edge of Damascus, were destroyed as a result of Zionist strikes.
The strikes also targeted a "military airport" on the outskirts of the city, according to the observatory.
