Nazareth – Saba:
Israeli officials accused Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his government of exploiting the war of extermination in the Gaza Strip for political purposes and to preserve the governing coalition.
According to media outlets, on Sunday, the Zionist opposition accuses Netanyahu of refusing to end the war and withdraw from Gaza for fear of the collapse of his government coalition, in light of the threat of extremist ministers to withdraw from it.
Netanyahu is stalling on a ceasefire deal in the Gaza Strip and prisoner exchanges despite international pressure, and members of his cabinet reject any deal that could "undermine the achievements of the war."
All this comes amid Netanyahu's trial in corruption cases that could lead to his imprisonment if the charges he denies are proven, as he gave his first testimony last Tuesday, saying that he is being prosecuted for his hardline security policies.
Since the seventh of October 2023, the Zionist enemy army has been waging a genocidal war on Gaza, which resulted in about 151,000 martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, in addition to massive destruction and famine, in one of the worst humanitarian disasters in the world.
