The Cleanliness and Improvement Fund in Amran province, in cooperation with the Works and Traffic Sector, carried out on Monday a field campaign to remove randomness , causes of traffic congestion and waste removal in the public streets of Amran city.
The campaign aims to remove stalls, peddlers' carts and khat sellers, remove random manifestations, dilapidated cars and junk from the streets, in addition to educating shop owners to commit to collecting waste and throwing it in their special places and placing special barrels in front of their shops.
The Executive Director of the Cleaning Fund, Abbas Al-Mutawakel, and the head of the Works Sector, Engineer Sultan Al-Qarahi, pointed out the importance of the campaign, which includes all the streets of the provincial capital to remove violations and manifestations that distort the general appearance of the city in order to facilitate traffic.
They stressed that the campaign is accompanied by awareness and control over the owners of shops and markets, urging them not to take out waste after cleaning the streets and passing the cleaning vehicles. They pointed out the importance of improving public cleanliness and community awareness to maintain the appearance and cleanliness of streets, lanes , public places, and to consolidate it as a faithful behavior, community culture and responsibility for everyone.
