Sewing & embroidery course for young women & vulnerable families in Sa'ada began

Sa'ada - Saba:
A training course in the field of sewing and embroidery began on Wednesday in Sa'ada Province with the participation of 20 participants from adolescent girls and the most vulnerable families organized by UNICEF for a month.


The course aims to provide the trainees with skills in the field of sewing and embroidery, which contributes to providing the needs of the labor market and improving their standard of living.

At the opening, Governor Mohammed Jaber Awad stressed the importance of holding such courses to rehabilitate the largest number of vulnerable families to find decent livelihoods and contribute to poverty alleviation and community building.

For his part, the secretary general of the province's local council, Mohammed Al-Emad, pointed out the importance of the course in rehabilitating the most vulnerable families to be productive , effective in society and support their families.

The director of the Social Affairs and Labor Office in the province, Sultan Rashid, pointed out that the participants in the course will receive sewing machines and supplies provided by UNICEF, indicating that such courses contribute to raising community and family awareness of the need for active participation in the comprehensive development process.
