A training course on the production and processing of food products from local agricultural crops for workers in the food processing factory in the upper district of Al-Quta'a, Hodeida province, concluded on Wednesday in Al-Hujaila district.
The course, which was organized by Al-Hujaila Agricultural Cooperative Association, and lasted for four days, aimed to provide 15 trainees from the village of Al-Shaab - Al-Damna with skills in producing and manufacturing food products from local agricultural crops such as tomato paste, ketchup, chutney, marmalade, and raw juices.
The Secretary General of Al-Hujaila Agricultural Association, Ahmed Qassim, explained that the trainees received theoretical and applied knowledge about the production steps within the course program with the aim of encouraging them to engage in sustainable production projects, thus contributing to achieving agricultural and economic development in the region.
For his part, Musleh Shwayan, director of Al-Hujaila district, praised the efforts of the association and those in charge of the course, and its keenness to improve local production levels and build the capacities of rural women.
