[18/ December/2024]

Jenin - Saba:

The commander-in-chief of the Jenin battalion in Al-Quds Brigades, on Wednesday, that the Palestinian security services asked to disarm the battalion and said that they would not allow Israel to fight, stressing that we initiated the solution in advance and the security services refused to do so.

The commander-in-chief of the Jenin battalion in the Al-Quds Brigades confirmed to Al-Jazeera: "We have no inflammatory ideas and whoever attacks us we hit him with an iron hand," adding, "Our fight against the occupier does not break the law."

He continued: The national program, which does not include armed struggle, is treasonous, explaining that "the political program of the authority has been going on for 30 years without result."
The commander-in-chief of the Jenin Brigade said, "We sent figures to the security services for the solution, but they responded arrogantly."

The PA security services continue to hunt down and arrest Palestinian resistance fighters wanted by the Palestinian occupation in the occupied West Bank governorates, especially in Jenin and Tulkarem, amid several questions from Palestinian circles about the purpose of this campaign.

It is worth mentioning that a few days ago, the Palestinian Authority launched a large-scale security campaign, in the northern West Bank city of Jenin, against the resistance fighters in the Jenin camp, at the beginning of the strongest and widest movement in many years, which resulted in the martyrdom of a commander in the Al-Quds Brigades, amid popular condemnation and wide factions.
