MSF calls for immediate ceasefire in Gaza

Paris - Saba:
Doctors Without Borders (MSF) called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and facilitating humanitarian access to the Strip amid the ongoing Zionist aggression.

According to the Palestinian Information Center, on Thursday, a new report issued by the organization revealed a sharp deterioration in the health situation in the Gaza Strip as a result of the ongoing attacks by the Zionist enemy army and the suffocating siege for 14 months.

The report, titled: "Gaza: Living in a Death Trap," indicated that the health care system in Gaza suffers from total destruction, with less than half of the 36 hospitals in Gaza Strip operating partially.

It warned that the continuation of the current situation will lead to long-term effects on public health in Gaza, as the injured will require years of rehabilitative care.

The report emphasized that the health situation in Gaza requires urgent action from the international community to ensure the provision of the necessary support and care to save lives.

Since October 7, 2023, the Zionist enemy army has been committing a genocide in Gaza that has left 152 martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, in addition to massive destruction and famine, in one of the world's worst humanitarian disasters.
