Baghdad - Saba:
The head of the organizing body of the Iraqi popular movement, Hussein Ali al-Karawi, warned on Friday of the premeditated US intentions towards the release of ISIS militants in the Syrian camp of Al-Hol.
Al-Karawi told the Iraqi news agency "Al-Maalouma": "There are suspicious movements by the new US administration towards the region in general and Iraq in particular."
He added: "These moves aim to release thousands of ISIS militants from prisons under the control of the SDF, an ally of America, as a pressure card against anti-terrorism countries."
He pointed out that "there are Zionist, Turkish, and Qatari pressures to release thousands of ISIS militants of different nationalities to confuse the security situation in the region. He pointed out that the ongoing battles between al-Julani gangs and the US-backed SDF are aimed at releasing the terrorists.
