Occupied Quds - Saba:
Al-Quds Governorate reported that the Zionist enemy authorities forced two Palestinian citizens to demolish their houses in the city on Saturday.
The governorate stated that the occupation municipality forced the Palestinians Hani Shuqairat to self-demolish part of his house in Jabal al-Mukaber town, south of occupied Al-Quds, under the pretext of building without a license.
For its part, local sources reported that the occupation municipality forced Mahmoud Aqeel to self-demolish his house in Silwan town, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque, under the pretext of building without a license.
The occupation municipality in Al-Quds refuses to grant Palestinian citizens building permits, and demolishes or forces them to demolish their houses, in a measure that contradicts international laws and humanitarian laws that guarantee the right to housing, as part of the occupation's systematic practices to forcibly displace Palestinians from the city of Al-Quds, in exchange for expanding settlements in the city and its surroundings.
In its report on the violations of the Israeli occupation in the governorate for the month of November, the Al-Quds Governorate documented 36 demolitions and bulldozing operations, including seven forced self-demolitions and 28 demolitions carried out by occupation vehicles, in addition to one bulldozing operation, bringing the number of demolitions and bulldozing of houses and facilities in the governorate since October 7, 2023 to 391 demolitions and bulldozing operations.
