The Russian Ministry of Defense announced today the liberation of the town of Ostrovsky in the Donetsk Republic, the elimination of 1,575 military personnel, and the destruction of dozens of tanks, armored vehicles, and Western weapons of the Kyiv forces in the past 24 hours.
The Ministry of Defense's daily statement on the progress of the military operation in Ukraine read:
The "North" forces reinforced their positions in the Kharkiv province of northeastern Ukraine and the Donetsk Republic, inflicting 40 dead on the enemy and destroying an armored vehicle, two vehicles, cannons, and an ammunition depot.
Russian "Western" forces reinforced their positions in the Kharkiv province and the republics of Lugansk and Donetsk, repelling two attacks, killing the enemy 440 and destroying three tanks, including a German Leopard, two vehicles, Western guns, an ammunition depot, and two electronic warfare stations.
"South" forces liberated the town of Ostrovsky in the Donetsk Republic, inflicting 285 dead on the enemy and destroying two armored vehicles, five ammunition depots, and Western cannons.
The "Center" forces strengthened their advance in the Donetsk Republic, repelled 12 attacks, inflicted 580 dead on the enemy, and destroyed a Leopard tank, armored vehicles including the American M113, M117, and Max Pro, and Western vehicles and cannons.
The "east" forces reinforced their positions in Donetsk, inflicting 160 dead on the enemy and destroying six Western vehicles and cannons.
The Dnieper forces inflicted heavy losses on the Ukrainian army in the Zaporizhie and Kherson regions, repelling one attack, killing 70 people, and destroying two vehicles, Western guns, and an electronic warfare station.
Russian forces continue to destroy energy sites, infrastructure, military airfields, drone depots, and enemy logistics.
Eight American Himars missiles were shot down.
