Rabat - Saba:
The Spanish prime minister on Saturday called on countries around the World to recognize the State of Palestine, help give it full membership in the United Nations and put an end to the Israeli occupation.
Fair, inclusive peace needs to be realized in the Middle East region, Pedro Sánchez said at the international socialism conference hosted by Rabat from Friday to Sunday.
Efforts should be united to counter deteriorating crises in different areas around the World, Palestine in particular, the Spanish PM added.
The Israeli occupation should be ended, and the Palestinian people should be enabled to establish their independent state, with eastern Quds its capital, as part of the Two-State solution, Sánchez said.
