Sana'a - Saba:
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning expects cold and very cold weather in a number of governorates during the next 24 hours.
According to the weather bulletin issued by the center, the weather is expected to be very cold in the governorates of Saada, Amran, Sana'a, Dhamar and Al-Bayda and the highlands of Ibb Governorate.
While the weather may be cold in western Al-Jawf, south and west of Marib and the highlands of Al-Dhale'e, Lahj, and Abyan and in the deserts and plateaus of Shabwa, Hadhramaut and Al-Mahra, and relatively cold to cold in the highlands of Hajjah, Al-Mahwit, Raymah and Taiz.
The center stated that the lowest temperatures recorded in some meteorological stations this morning were as follows: Rasaba - Dhamar: 0.3, Amran: 2, Dhi Na'im - Al Bayda: 2.2, Sana'a: 3.6, Sayun: 7.8, Ibb: 8.4, Al Mahwit: 8.5, Hajjah: 9.5 degrees Celsius.
It warned citizens in the highlands, deserts and plateaus of cold and very cold weather during the late night and early morning hours.
It called on farmers to take precautions against the effects of very cold weather and the need to take the necessary measures to protect crops, and advised livestock herders, beekeepers and poultry farmers to shelter them in healthy and warm places.
