Gaza - Saba:
The Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), revealed on Tuesday a tight ambush targeting a Zionist force of 12 soldiers in the "Al-Ezba" area, west of Beit Hanoun, in the northern Gaza Strip.
The Saraya said in a military statement that its mujahideen, after returning from the battle lines in the northern Gaza Strip, reported that they had caught a Zionist infantry force of 12 soldiers last Sunday evening in a tight ambush.
It explained that its mujahideen blew up a house where the Zionist force was holed up in the Ezba area, west of Beit Hanoun. "The house was pre-booby-trapped with several anti-personnel devices," it said.
Al-Quds Brigades continued: "As soon as the rescue forces arrived at the scene of the ambush, our mujahideen detonated a piercing device with a Merkava military vehicle."
The Saraya added in another statement: "We are engaged in fierce clashes, from scratch, with medium weapons and anti-personnel missiles with the soldiers of the Zionist enemy holed up in a house in the Abdel Dayem area, west of Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip."
Earlier, the Al-Quds Brigades announced that the Mujahideen of the "Rocket Force" in the Brigades bombarded the settlements of the "Gaza envelope", with a rocket barrage from the heart of the incursion axes in the northern Gaza Strip.
