Occupied Quds - Saba:
The Zionist enemy authorities extended the state of emergency for another year today, Tuesday.
The Zionist Channel 12 reported that the Knesset approved extending the state of emergency for another year until December 2025, at the request of the Zionist enemy government.
The decision came based on a recommendation from the so-called Joint Committee of the Foreign Affairs and Security Committee and the Constitution Committee, to extend the state of emergency until December 16.
29 members of the Knesset voted in favor of the decision, while seven opposed it and two abstained from voting.
In a state of emergency, the government has the right to put in place emergency regulations that have the ability to bypass Knesset legislation.
Since October 7 of last year, the Zionist enemy army has been waging a bloody war on the Gaza Strip, which has resulted in tens of thousands of martyrs and wounded and widespread destruction in the Strip.
