Gaza - Saba:
Director of Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip Hussam Abu Safiya has said that the Zionist enemy army placed explosive "robots" on Monday, for the first time, near the hospital, which posed a great danger.
Abu Safiya added in a statement on Tuesday that the "robots" were close and emptied an explosive box, and after it exploded, all the barriers inside the hospital were destroyed, as well as the internal doors.
He explained that the destruction was horrific, as 20 people were injured in the hospital departments, including five members of the medical staff.
Abu Safiya reported that the Zionist drones returned this morning, but this time in a larger size and carrying explosive boxes.
He continued "Each box weighs more than 20 kilograms and is currently being dropped on the houses surrounding the hospital."
Abu Safiya explained that these boxes cause explosions followed by fires in the targeted areas, and anyone moving in the hospital yard is at risk, as they are targeted by the drones.
He pointed out that the generators were targeted again and the situation remains critical.
He added "We appealed to the international community, but so far no party has pledged to intervene and stop this attack on us."
Abu Safia renewed his call for the world to provide relief to the healthcare system in northern Gaza, including Kamal Adwan Hospital, Al-Awda Hospital and the Indonesian Hospital.
He called for the establishment of a safe corridor to bring in all necessary supplies and aid to protect workers and the healthcare system from direct targeting and attacks.
