Gaza - Saba:
The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas revealed on Wednesday that the Zionist enemy has set new issues and conditions related to withdrawal, ceasefire, prisoners, and the return of displaced persons in Gaza, which postponed reaching the available agreement.
The movement said in a press statement: "The negotiations for a ceasefire and prisoner exchange are proceeding in Doha under Qatari and Egyptian mediation in earnest."
The statement added: "The movement has shown responsibility and flexibility, but the occupation has set new issues and conditions related to withdrawal, ceasefire, prisoners, and the return of the displaced, which postponed reaching the agreement that was available."
Yesterday, Qatar announced that negotiations for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and the exchange of prisoners between Israel and Hamas "are still underway between Cairo and Doha and it is not possible to predict the date of reaching an agreement."
In this context, the Zionist channel "Makan" said on Wednesday that the ceasefire negotiations with Hamas are experiencing tangible difficulties regarding the course of the exchange deal.
For its part, the Israel Broadcasting Corporation claimed, today, that "Hamas refuses to provide the list of detainees, living and dead, who will be released in the first stage, and will be exchanged with Palestinian prisoners, within the framework of a ceasefire agreement and the release of detainees."
