The second phase of the Science and Technology Olympiad competitions for secondary school students was launched in Sana'a, organized by the General Authority for Science, Research and Technology and the education sector.
The second stage includes competition in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology at the level of educational districts, to qualify for the third stage at the level of the Sana'a City.
The Undersecretary of the Capital City for the Education and Youth Sector, Mohammed Al-Banous, stressed the importance of the Olympiad in developing students' creative abilities and discovering their talents, enabling them to excel in local and international competitions.
For his part, the Director General of Creators and Innovators, Dr. Sherif Qassem, praised the participants' interaction and high skills, explaining that the current stage includes students qualified from the Sana'a Capital schools.
It is noteworthy that the Olympiad includes a second track for creative projects in addition to competitions in scientific subjects.
